In an Order dated April 7, 2015, the New York Supreme Court held that Law Office of Ethan A. Brecher, LLC client Robert Quinn pleaded a valid claim for an advisory fee in connection with his role in securing $150,000,000 of financing for a real estate project in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. The Court rejected First Wall Street Capital Partners LLC’s contention that the claim was barred by the NY Real Property Law Section 442-d because Mr. Quinn was not a licensed real estate broker.
