On January 7, 2014, in Henriquez v. Starwood Hotel Resorts Worldwide, the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit reinstated the retaliation claim of Regina Henriquez, after finding that the District Court failed to evaluate her complaint as to whether she was retaliated against in violation of Title VII of the Civil Rights act of 1964 by her former employer. The Second Circuit appointed Ethan A. Brecher as Ms. Henriquez’s attorney from its pro bono panel of attorneys.
